Eruption Imminent 2004
Flipping through the local news channels this morning, there actually was a segment called this.
The news-hype has started. Ice Storm 2004, Floodwatch 96, its just obvious that Eruption Imminent 2004 should follow.
Sounds like its pretty safe so far. The mountain may throw rocks beyond the crater rim. Ash should be limited locally, maybe with a small amount travelling as far west Kelso. It sounds highly unlikely that ash would make it South to Portland.
I wonder if the mountain is finally back on track to its rebuilding period, soon maybe Helens may look like a mountain once again.
Alright; now back to the history channel and the history of Mexico......

I'm just a peaceful, serene, little mountain residing in the shadow of Mt. Ranier.

I read in the paper yesterday that the mountain is in a rebuilding period....good thing I went to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) when I was little.
