The Rain in Spain is mainly on the Plain

Out my window, as I left, I watched it raining, and the wind blowing the plants on the pool deck.

Naturally, back home this condition calls for a jacket which I dutifully pulled out and have with me now.

First problem, the wind is blocked by the myriad of tall buildings surrounding me.

Second problem, the temperature still doesn't quite feel right for an extra layer of clothing.

Third problem, the rain comes and goes.

Am currently thinking of investing in that device which is dread to any longstanding Oregonian....an umbrella (you must be from out of state or a business person in a suit if you pull out an umbrella....its just rain, put on a jacket)...
