Taxes are Sick
Earlier this week I was talking to a friend about taxes.
We both bought houses last year. I forked over cash to have someone figure out my tax deductions for me. He's doing his taxes himself.
Joke of the conversation: "If you screw up your taxes enough, the government will come and do your taxes for you." I wonder if that's true?
Spent today at home on the couch, sick with a stomach virus. As the doctor so kindly put it "Either you got into something.....or rather something got into you." Looking up the sickness on the internet, one of the recommended diets is called a BRAT diet (Bananas Rice Applesauce Toast). Good thing I've got rice.
This made me thankful for the building I live in. Doctor's clinic on the first floor. Pharmacy in the basement. ABC Store across the street for rush "sick food" groceries.
Ended up watching TV today and think I came to an understanding about why there are so many cable channels (even if it's preposterous, I'll stick by it for now). Daily Cable programming is repeated at least twice a day....and nightly cable programming twice a night....forcing the channel to be changed.
It was good to see that WB still has afternoon cartoons (of which the only worthwhile one is Batman....not into the Pokemon whatever they call it now thing...getting old I guess).....
