Things to do in Portland and a Portland Crowd

A friend comes to visit and a separate trip to the pub reminds me.

Things that make Portland.

From my friend's visit, things visitors might do:

Black Tiger Shakes; Coffeepeople.



Wacky Willy's (unfortunately no longer).



Toys'R'Us (yes nationwide, but imagine it minus sales tax).



The Gasthaus 1, 2, 3, 4.



Kennedy School and movies.



Powell's.



From my trip to the pub tonight for catching up with a friend not seen in a long while.



Crowds watching the State of the Union address at the pub. Not to cheer, but to hiss. (me, honestly could give a sh*t.....current bush not worth listening to; Clinton good president, but bad person, Reagan, likeable but bad economically, Nixon; fun for a kitsch value). However, the standing and clapping routine (every seemingly minute) is worth laughing about.



Anyhow, to all that made the effort to visit for Chinese New Year's, thank you. I had a fun night.....
