Hiroshima and the possible War of Words fails to the Willy Week
Plan A was to read up on Hiroshima as I am not the best informed on the topic....however, as usual plan A fails to plan B......
I feel a need to share a couple articles I saw in the Willamette Week (Willy Week for those in the know; and the local free paper similar to the free cough-hmmmm-cough----paper in The Bay).
The first one really reminded me of my own political views: The Nose knows. For those unaware of my political lazidazicalness (which is surprising, considering that my work is nearly directly related to public bonds being passed) I only recently registered to vote this summer. Previously in my mind the government was doing fine on its own and didn't really NEED my input. However, seeing what I've seen these past few years.....well that has changed my aspect on things for the better!
The second one is more of a reminiscence of Portland for those who've been here, but might miss it or as a kinda "different" primer for those who've never been here or experienced this town.
Awright geeezzaa! Anyhow, that's most ov i' fer tonight....if yer followin' da soap, I accepted da coun'eroffer on da Cat an' Mouse an' now 'ave Cockle Cock an' 'en days ter do da Gates ov Rome inspecshun thin' an' either reject awer accept da Gates ov Rome "as is." . Sorted mate....

Funny how you are becoming interested in voting now that you are on the verge of being a landowner.
I'm going to enjoy those Portland stories over the next few days. The one on 82nd was so true. It's such a whacked out street. I have always found it to be sort of wild and sort of depressing. Urban planning at it's worst, poetry at it's best.
