One of a Kind

Today was the most unique day I have ever had.

I started off my morning by signing closing papers for the house.

I did some work in the morning.

I was taken out for a final lunch with the entire firm during the noon hour.

I found out that the house purchase recorded this afternoon (making me the owner!).

I packed up my desk and bookshelves (into many boxes I might add).

Said my goodbyes at work.

Picked up my house key tonight (cleverly hidden under a potted plant outside).

I am now a homeowner with a 3 week nonpaid vacation, and a paid business trip to Vegas for a couple days next week....
