Ch-Ch-Changes

Being away from home for a year lends and interesting perspective on things.

A random list:

The Grocery Store has a limited selection of rice.
The Grocery Store is frickin huge.
People don't necessarily stop for pedestrians.
People are surprised if you stop for pedestrians.
You CAN get stopped and talk to a policeman if you don't signal a right hand turn on a residential street.
People aren't used to nudging your way into a lane on the freeway.
People drive close to the posted speed.
People expect to get over for others rather than them going around on the right.
If you go to a place often enough they'll still remember you when you come back.
Friends that don't expect you to come up with things to do are good.
Sometimes trying to find someone to do something simple with is hard.
I have to crawl around under the house this weekend.
I expect to receive emails at odd times during the day (like either before I get up out of bed/mid-morning/mid-afternoon).
Monday Night Football is at night.
Air is dry.
Heated buildings make me sneeze and create phlegm.
Fog is cool.

Random bits for the week, what're your random bits?
