Cleanup for the Weekend

For those avid readers of this blog out there here's my weekend update (da dadad da....)
(and why you would avidly read such tripe is beyond me, of course, why I would write such tripe is beyond me too.....)

House cleaning day was Saturday. In an attempt to rid the house of cat smell, the goal was to clean every surface in the house. Walls, floors, countertops, carpets.....everything. My folks helped and a couple friends who can't help with moving day volunteered to help with cleaning day. Cleaning day was much more draining than I picture moving day being. I count myself very fortunate to have such friends and family to help with such an awful task (I really don't enjoy cleaning).

The entire house isn't done yet, but a huge chunk of it was done on Saturday. Today I spent more time cleaning....almost through.

Fun fact from the weekend; I you are trying to keep track of how clean your cleaning bucket is, do not use one of those yellow sponges with the green brillo (sp?) on the back....
