The Visitor's Descend
Today marked the likely end of visitors while I'm here.
Minor thoughts/Musings for the week:
What does your magazine selection say about you?
Looking at reading materials people travel with, and looking at my own magazine subscriptions, "light" reading really reflects what people are interested in?
One friend didn't bring magazines, but brought one of the Bourne after movie books and a small electronic movie player dealy. Another friend reads "Wired" and computer books. My dad regularly reads "Hot Rodder" and "Popular Mechanics (or Science).
My magazine subscriptions include "National Geographic", "Popular Science" (but looking at what PopSci has turned to, maybe going to "Popular Mechanics") ", "North American Fisherman", Hawaii PBS's program guide, and "ASHRAE Journal" (trade journal for those of us air-conditioning engineer types). What do you read?
Thought from the past couple weeks: Things I really dislike doing alone (besides most everything): Movies, Hiking, Fishing, Restaurants.

I'm boring. If you saw me traveling, you would see a Fortune magazine, maybe a Wall Street Journal, and various investment publications from my firm. Good times....good times....oh, how I long to read fluff like InTouch and People Magazine....
